THIS SACRED THING art exhibition hosts an artist discussion at SPACE Gallery on October 28 with Lenore Thomas, Nick Daniels, Stephen Grebinski, Dyvika Peel, Zach Brown, Julia Betts, Andrew Allison, Dafna Rehavia, and PJ Zimmerlink moderated by Amanda Waltz of Pittsburgh City Paper. *Excuse the dropouts at various points in the video. This Sacred Thing examines perspectives related to relics, ranging from the divine to the obsolete. The exhibit features work from 37 local and international artists. Curated by Pittsburgh-based artists Ian Brill, Sam Smith, and Keith Tassick - the show, which runs at SPACE Gallery from Sept. 9th through Nov. 21st, questions how objects, possessions, rituals, and artwork are given or lose meaning.
